Diary: learnings a la amuse bouche

Learnings about poetry: I read a term "prosimetrum" which is a mixture of prose paragraph followed by poetic verse in single form of writing. Chantefable which is a sung verse. Choreopoem which includes poetry song music and dance and is more contemporary.

The Danzon form has a component of French composition in historical basis, alongside with African rhythms in the clavè, jazz arrangements.  The montuno is the bit where the piano goes solo bravura working with compositional techniques called line cliche. The horn section usually gets flashy with prelude from percussion that accompanies the horn section part.

Salsa would be a great to transpose to poetic form. I have in my datamine a beautiful poem by Guillén (proponent of Negrismo) and I have some recourse to the work of Palés Matos (Afro-Antilles and "diepalismo")

Also read up on Cuba and Jamaica political relationship.some good things. I'm going to see the strides this NYE and they'll be playing dancehall. That is a rare and precious dance form locally.

To refer back to French composition below is a fave from art music. Milhaud accompanied by poet Claudel went to Brazil as attaches. Milhaud study came back with this
