On Cocaine (written 28/12/2011)
She's the best looking woman at the bar
she don't lie but you can't believe her
sure, i can tell her she's gorgeous - and every time
she walks past i can say, 'you're looking better
every time i see you'
and she likes that too - too much as well,
as the engorged body starts to spark a fuse to play, and
strike up a tune, of a song we all know,
with the more on spirits we are,
the more we glow glad isotopes of resistance
and the easy morsel of indifference
she's golden, so they say, like the violin played to right perfection
by a robotic arm and i tell her again -
'you're looking even more ecstatic in the logic moon of this light,
you're going to have to stop walking past me'
she stops, smiles angrily and tells me she already has a husband.
she don't lie but you can't believe her.
