Prose: Scar Scry by Ariel Riveros

The scar is often metaphor for tender life experience displayed. Encompassing the badge of courage and of simple indelible unhideable fact.

The prior wounding turns over like a motor. The scar here has compression and linear power. A motor without need of critical experiential declaration. A untechnological power source whose lacerations, now like wires, conduct conscious zoom and burns lambent like coil springing light.

A circuit board without implant by tool, retooling in the once sour grain over time and chemical states. No longer the storm for soldier or tragedy. A zig zag with no planned results. A companion developed sense with cloudy corresponding object field. Bar the encounters with others, in globular stirring, plucking whole rifts.
