Theory: A Local Medical Health Jaded Culture

Medical culture at my local MH LHD uses a term for community outpatients "the sarcastic consumer."




Informally 100% of the community outpatient base hate meds as my case manager commented once.




And at certain thresholds the term is weaponised. The an ilk of make virtuous performative political economy complaint as neoliberal community champion cause celebre regards unfunded research and that's tolerable but it also allows the psychiatrist and allied health staff to socially own the IP on jadedness and ensuing inappropriate affect.

As for their political views on other things this is a profile adjunct of displaying radical politics. The incongruence here is shameless but appropriate to neoliberal and the usual Fabianist community values the anglosphere love too much.
