casual faux velvet
black
like Elizabeth Taylor's eyes
and all the bruises
of the band of Air Supply.

We took in deep breath
and felt an icey southerly buster
a cool poetic whirlwind
like a studio of airconditioners
embracing human, animal and earths.

The fields I wander
are of some interest
to a few people

of biome and language
the magnetosphere
and reshapings of the Earth's field
I cannot equalise the waters
and weep for Kiribati as it sinks
and all waters that dry and stink.

The giftsies of the gypsies
is wrapped and so well folded
with the tape unseen
or just clear
and inside the wrap
is what I want for you
and for you to realise
on it's very opening.
