I walk through my body

I walk through my body
first the finite heart
beats per minute
rushing red blood
pump by twitch
I watch it in awe
like a great dam

Second the stomach
part filled and colons
sitting squashed together

Then my legs big springboards

and my feet that are hot from stepping

I skip to my neck which is
the safe seed of the spine
to my many petalled sunflower
of the brain that swathes in sweat
and shines

And cap a pe I finish in my eyes
still holes of stars spun
it all speaks love
and my journey is done
